Getting the full power of the USB Port while scanning
Your scanner may sometimes be disconnected for unknown reasons. In order to repair this issue, you need to set up a special USB setting. This setting will prevent the scanner from lagging and disconnecting while scanning.
To do so, follow these steps:
Search "device manager"
Open "Universal Serial Bus controllers"
Right click any device that says "USB Root Hub" and select properties
Select the Power Management tab and unclick the check box that says "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"
