Processing a knee scan with MSoft in 4 easy steps.
First, alignyour scan.
Aligningyour scan with the 4 Viewswillindicate to MSoftwhich are the front, left or right side and top of your model. Click and rotate the model untileveryviewisproperlyoriented.
Second, clip your scan.
Clippingyour scan is essential to cut the parts youdon'tneed, resulting in a cleaner model. Click and drag to draw a line whereyouwant to slice your model.
Third, add a skeleton to your model.
Adding a skeleton to an articulatedmemberwillindicate to MSoftpreciselywhereis the joint on the model. Click and drag the redspheres, representing the joints, to align the boneswith the model. Adjustyour point withdifferentviews to be more precise.
Fourth, reconstructyour model.
The reconstruction is the automatic process in whichMSoftwillsmoothyour model to create a clean, watertightresult. MSoftwillproceed in only a couple of seconds.
Once the modelisreconstructed, MSoftwillaskyou if youwant to use tokens to saveyourwork. If you are using an unlimited licence, youwon’tneed to spendtokens and directlyaccess to your final file.Afteraccepting, youwillbe able to saveyour file in the format and folder of yourchoice. You willalso have access to the measurements section.
