Processing a head scan with MSoft in 3 easy steps
First, align your scan.
Aligning your scan with the 4 Views will indicate to MSoft which are the front, left or right side and top of your model. Click and rotate the model until every view is properly oriented.
Second, reconstruct your model.
The reconstruction is the automatic process in which MSoft will smooth your model to create a clean, watertight result. MSoft will proceed in only a couple of seconds.
Third, add a base plan to your model.
This step will define the orientation and location of the reference curve MSoft will use to generate the measurements you need, like the diagonals. Adjust the base plan directly on your model by moving the red spheres.
Once done, MSoft will ask you if you want to use tokens to save your work. If you are using an unlimited license, you won’t need to spend tokens and will be able to directly access your final file. After accepting, you will be able to save your file in the format and folder of your choice. You will also have access to the measurements section.
