Processing a plantar surface scan with MSoft in 3 easy steps.

First, align your scan.

Aligning your scan will indicate to MSoft where are the toes, the heel and the floor. Adjust the view and identify, respecting this order: the first metatarsal head, the fifth metatarsal head and the heel.

Second, repeat this process for the other foot if applicable.

Third, reconstruct your model.

Reconstruction is the automatic process in which MSoft will smooth your model to create a clean, watertight result. MSoft will proceed in only a couple of seconds.

Once the model is reconstructed, MSoft will ask you if you want to use tokens to save your work. If you are using an unlimited licence, you won’t need to spend tokens and directly access to your final file. After accepting, you will be able to save your file in the format and folder of your choice. You will also have access to the measurements section.
