Using the Token Supplier

Using the Token Supplier

The token supplier is a tool that is used to distribute tokens from a main license key to children license keys and to monitor subscription licenses you are sending to your customers. A token license uses tokens every time a file from any scanner is processed (MSoft or MSoft +), whereas a subscription license can process an unlimited number of scans with one single scanner number.

Installing the Token supplier

1. Download the .zipped folder from this link:
https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/1TqEhIb9yH

2. From the .zip file, extract its content to a folder of your choice.
3. In the list of files, click on the executable (TokenSupplier.exe) to start the application
4. Enter the activation key supplied by us when prompted.

You are now ready to use the Token supplier.

How to use the Token Supplier

When opening the Token Supplier, this view should appear :

Ensure the activation key in the top-left corner is visible. You will also see your bank of subscription and token licenses in the 2 boxes below.

The children licenses (subscriptions and tokens)  will be ordered to TechMed 3D. These keys are created in batches, to ensure a bank of licenses to distribute.  It is strongly recommended to enter information about the client in the appropriate fields when assigning a license. Right-clicking the line allows the edition of the "Comments" field.

Transferring tokens to children licenses

1.      Right-click on the token license in which you want to transfer tokens to.

2.      Put the quantity you want to transfer in the Pop-up box.
3.      Click on ‘OK’.

Transferring tokens to an External License

It is possible to transfer tokens to a license to one that is not listed in the Token Supplier application.

To do so :

1. Click on the ‘Transfer tokens to external license’  button.
2. Paste the activation key to which you want to transfer tokens.
3. Put the quantity of tokens you want to transfer. Click on ‘OK’.

Generating a list of licenses

To generate a list of the licenses, click on the ‘Export’ button in the top-right corner. This produces 2 .csv files :

  1. One file for Subscription licenses,
  2. One file for Token licenses.

Resetting the Token Supplier's license

It is possible to change which key is used by the Token Supplier. However, as you should only have one key on hand, the only reason to use that button is as a safeguard in case the activation key was deactivated. Should that happen, please contact us as soon as possible.
